Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to stage my home?

The NY real estate market is very competitive. If you want your listing to stand out, to get the highest price possible, and sell as quickly as possible, then staging can boost your property to the next level. Check out these statistics from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) 2025 report on staging:

  • “60% of buyers' agents cited that home staging affected most buyers’ view of the home most of the time.”

  • “83% of buyers' agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home.”

  • “When staging a home, 19% of sellers' agents reported an increase of 1% to 5% of the dollar value offered by buyers in comparison to similar homes.”

Can I select the furnishings I want for the staging?

We bring over 30 years of professional Staging & Styling experience to your project. The furniture and accessories we select are carefully curated to the needs of your project, the targeted demographic, budget and availability. Therefore, all selections are made at our discretion.

Do you own furniture for stagings?

We believe that each property is unique and should be staged as such. Since we do both occupied and vacant stagings, our furniture needs to run the spectrum from mid-century modern to traditional and everything in between. Although we own a significant amount of inventory, when needed, we partner with trusted furniture providers for additional pieces.

How long does a staging contract run?

The minimum contract runs for 3 months, and can be extended on a per month basis. We also offer longer contracts for 6 months or more. We will consult with your broker for the best time frame for your project based on the current market.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, for most projects we can accept major credit cards. We also accept bank transfers (Zelle), Venmo, cash and personal checks (for local work only).

Do you work with Compass Concierge?

Yes, we are a registered stager with the Compass Concierge program, and have done many projects through that program.
